The next projects…
I’ve just realised that I’ve not posted anything on my website since last year! Bad of me, I know, but to make up for that, I thought I’d give you all an update on my writing plans and what’s to come next.
The Sundered Crown Saga
My main fantasy series continues to be my bestselling one and with the release of Book 5 in January the end is coming into view. Next up for the series is the final book. I have planned out the structure of the book but as it is the final book there are quite a few plot threads to weave together and finish. This book will take a lot of time and effort as I want to give you all a satisfactory ending to the saga I’ve been working on for the past 8 years. I hope to start writing book six later in the year and will be aiming for a late 2023 release date at the earliest.
The Empowered Ones Series
My second epic fantasy series is a labour of love and probably the book that I have most enjoyed writing. Now, book 2 The Temple of Arrival ended on something of a cliffhanger. I always planned to make the series a trilogy and can confirm that I will be writing the third book in the series. As to when I will get around to it is another question entirely as I have other projects I want to get done first. I’m not the fastest author but I will try and get this one out sometime in 2024 (maybe earlier depending on how other work goes). Do not worry, Elian, Marcus and Lizella’s story will be completed.
Tales of series…
My series of tales set in the world of the Sundered Crown Saga now comprises three books with the most recent release being The Crimson Blade. These books focus on time periods and events that proved important to the lore of the series. I enjoy writing these books as there are plenty of events in the lore and timeline I created for the Saga that deserves the novella treatment. I do have plans to write a few more of these with one idea being focused on the Bannerlords of Kastador and another based on the Yundol invasion.
Other books
As well as the books mentioned above I am working on a brand new series that I will hopefully be able to share next month. As well as that I also have plans to create a sci-fi series but that is a long way off for now. Finally, I do intend to re-release my historical fiction novel, Unconquered: Blood of Kings sometime this year!
